@djkocisi 'The nuts' is simply the best possible hand Sammy could get with his hand, also being the best hand compared to other people still in play. Not the theoretical best hand looking at the board only. The hands that player's actually have count. As such AQ doesn't qualify as 'the nuts', as no one in play had that hand. Same goes for quad aces, as I'm pretty sure someone folded an ace. It wouldn't change the situation where Sammy has the best hand either, which again is called 'the nuts'.

@thepokermoney the term 'the nuts' usually doesnt refer to the total best hand on the current street but rather the current POSSIBLE hand (ie: the nuts is usually referring to a players perspective). while YES the nuts were quad aces from sammys perspective on the turn he holds the SECOND nuts (only losing to aq) since he holds an ace making quad aces impossible from his perspective.
